When we launched the Recruiter’s Toolbox a couple of months ago it was always our intention to add more to it over time and increase its value. So we are very pleased to be able to announce that today we have done just that by adding a new calculator and a series of educational webinars.

For these webinars 2LS have teamed up with Ross Williams, the self-styled RecruitMentor. Ross has been in recruitment since 1999 amassing a career GP of well over £3m as well as creating a brand new niche agency which went from zero to several million turnover within 5 years. Ross sold his business to a larger recruitment firm in 2008 and since then, has freelanced as an independent recruitment business advisor and training specialist.

The first webinar, on 23rd November, focussed on the subject of properly qualifying a vacancy, will be an invaluable crash course in ensuring a successful first step in any recruitment process. We expect it to be a lively and thought-provoking, with time for questions and answers to finish.

We have also added a simple AWR calculator to our popular series of online calculators to help you in your day-to-day job. By entering a small amount of information the tool will give you an indication of whether the contracted pay rate is likely to meet the comparator check under the terms of the Agency workers regulations.
