Custom Solutions

If a client requires an new interface or add-on to GRIP (or perhaps a standalone tool) then we may be able to assist by writing a customised software module. The process involves the following:

System Specification

System Specification

We have been writing system specifications for many years now. This has lead to much experience being gained in this area. We will come to your site and gather all information about the required system and ultimately put together a proposal within a detailed document.

The system specification consists of a fairly detailed document, that details all the user requirements of the proposed system, if there is a manual system in place currently, how this system works is also included. The specification then goes on to give some ideas on possible screen layouts, and operations that will be performed using the proposed system. We produce system specifications for all new systems, alternatively we can provide a system specification independently of an application, possibly for internal development staff.

System Design

The system design is based on the specification and contains the detail how the requirements of the new system are to be implemented. This includes 3rd party software components and additional data formats that may be required during development. This document will normally be used to implement the new system, and can be supplied to the client to be used for internal development.
